For our client, one of the largest global companies in the financial industry, we are looking for a candidate to take on the role of IT Governance Manager.

As an IT Governance Manager, your primary objective will be to advance, refine, and elevate the maturity level of all IT Governance facets in collaboration with the CIO/Board Member. This initiative is propelled by external mandates, such as regulatory compliance, and internal business requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team within a matrix, agile-oriented environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Implementing the IT governance framework and its activities in line with organizational standards, external regulations and business priorities;
  • Creating and providing transparency of relevant IT aspects, in particular regarding IT Strategy, IT Services and Processes, IT Budgets and IT Resources, IT Risk Assessment, IT Quality Assurance, IT Vendors Management;
  • Initiates and monitors improvement of IT processes across whole IT department based on audit and controls outcomes. Optimizes and adapts them to accepted good practices and standards. Ensures transparency of core processes defined by IT organization;
  • Works closely with control functions within the company such as Internal Audit, Compliance or the Risk Management Function
  • Creates and shares reports with IT management, identifying IT process bottlenecks and suggesting options and recommendations. Reviews and enhances current process designs and discusses recommendations with teams.

Our requirements:

  • 5 years of professional managerial experience combined from various aspects of IT management, e.g. IT Strategy, IT Demand Management, IT Risk Management, IT Vendor Management, IT / Corporate Architecture;
  • Experience and high-developed skill in managing teams and developing people
  • Master degree in computer science, engineering, business or other related disciplines
  • Strong ability to work in a multinational and complex environment
  • Ability to analyze the broad perspective of planned and implemented changes in the context of their dependencies and their effectiveness
  • Analytical and data driven approach to your work continuous improvement attitude and proactive mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasive skills
  • Experience in the financial industry is considered asset.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

          ABOUT THE JOB

          • Strategic senior leadership role working directly with the Group CTO.
          • Partnering with customers and the CISO to shape and execute the company’s cybersecurity transformation in IT and OT.

          • Ability to lead different delivery models, with a preferable experience of Agile frameworks.
