Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join the company as a Service Contract Management Director. You will be responsible for overseeing the service contract management (agreement to provide or financially maintenance and repair services for limited amount of time for a fixed fee paid in regular time periods) function and leading a team of Service Contract Management Coordinators. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies for service contract management, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring contract performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for service contract management, aligning with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for service contract management
  • Ensure the strategy considers profitability, operational execution, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of Service Contract Management Coordinators
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team members
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, service, operations, and finance teams, to ensure effective coordination and execution of service contracts
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Service Partners and other external service providers
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure high-quality service contract implementation
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of service contracts, including profitability, customer satisfaction, and service quality
  • Track bus fleet availability per contract and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting contract performance and recommending actions for improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in service contract management
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance contract management processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to service contracts
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with service contracts, such as warranty claims, liability issues, and contract disputes
  • Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to address contract-related issues
  • Lead contract negotiation efforts with clients, analyzing and evaluating contract terms
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in contract agreements
  • Develop contract pricing

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Operations, Automotive or a related field)
  • Proven experience in service contract management or a related field in the automotive industry, with a minimum of 8 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the aftersales market in the automotive industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the aftersales market, including customer needs and preferences, competitor analysis, and industry best practices
  • Ability to analyze market data and customer insights to develop effective sales strategies. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data, customer feedback, and industry trends to develop data-driven sales strategies and action plans
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Fluent in English; Polish and additional languages are a plus. Additional language skills are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage (German, Italian, Spanish, French)
