The is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Global Sales Director/Manager to join their aftersales market team. This is a new role with geographic responsibility across Europe, focusing on driving sales growth and establishing comprehensive sales strategies.

GLOBAL SALES DIRECTOR AFTERSALES MARKET (AUTOMOTIVE)

(f/m, Poznań/hybrid)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets for the aftersales market across European markets
  • Manage a geographically dispersed salesforce across European markets by building sales operating model, driving regular sales meetings and planning, developing and implementing commercial excellence solutions and tools, running sales performance management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize customer lifetime value
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the aftersales market, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, attending conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand industry knowledge and professional network
  • Lead and manage teams of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and exceed sales goals
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends, conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the competition
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field)
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing in the automotive industry, with a focus on aftersales. The candidate should have a proven track record of success in senior sales roles, demonstrating their ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
  • Proven track record of success in managing sales teams and achieving ambitious sales targets. The candidate should have experience in leading and motivating a diverse team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and exceed sales goals
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • In-depth knowledge of the aftersales market in the automotive industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the aftersales market, including customer needs and preferences, competitor analysis, and industry best practices
  • Ability to analyze market data and customer insights to develop effective sales strategies. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data, customer feedback, and industry trends to develop data-driven sales strategies and action plans
  • Experience in managing and negotiating contracts with local companies and distributors. The candidate should have experience in managing relationships with local companies and distributors across multiple markets, including contract negotiation, pricing, and terms and conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions. The candidate should be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Fluent in English; Polish and additional languages are a plus. Additional language skills are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage (German, Italian, Spanish, French)
