We are looking for an experienced software quality director able to enhance and automatise testing processes and bring new standards to quality assurance teams.

Director, Software Quality Assurance Department

Responsibilities:
  • lead and mentor software quality assurance team
  • establish and implement software quality assurance policy
  • implement QA key metrics to provide status management and insights to development
  • optimise and improve software testing processes towards efficiency and automatisation
  • ensure that software testing environments and tools are up-to date with established QA strategy
  • collaborate with executive management to set proper targets for QA processes maturity
  • stimulate team to improve competencies and develop leadership skills
  • supervise collaboration with external suppliers
    Requirements:
    • a degree in software development or related
    • at least 10 years of experience in software Quality Assurance design and execution
    • at least 10 years of people leadership experience
    • executive experience in software quality assurance area
    • executive experience in software development lifecycle in highly-regulated environment (preferably banking, finance, telco, life sciences)
    • organisational skills and constant improvement approach
    • broad testing frameworks, tools and approaches awareness, including automation, tests plan and ceses implementation
    • strategic thinker
    • persistence, diplomacy and ability of working with various stakeholders
