Director of Architecture (Global)

The role is based in Warsaw, Poland having global responsibility for enterprise architecture design and implementation within the organisation. This person will drive commercially focused IT roadmap and support the company in its digital transformation process. The role will identify and recommend differentiating and innovative technologies that enable the delivery of key business initiatives. Director of Architecture will be also developing and delivering new market capabilities to evolve the overall technology landscape for the enterprise. This person will use of technology across all geographic areas, businesses, and functions having direct influence on business goals delivery.

We are looking for and experienced manager able to work with C-level executives across the organisation. This person should have proven experience of leading a complex technology transformation within a significant ecommerce or direct to consumer business. He or she should be also experienced in enterprise architecture planning and development in collaboration with business, both on long and short-terms.

This person should be up to date with current technology trends and aprroaches, have a deep understanding of Application, Cloud, Data, Infrastructure, Integration, Security, Web and Native Mobile Architectures. Should be also experienced in working with major vendors.

We are looking for a team leader, great communicator and influencer that inspires others. This person should be able to communicate complex ideas in a focused, simple and commercially relevant manner to a senior audience (up to and including CxO level).

Program management experience would be a significant asset, along with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work alongside the business to develop creative technology strategies for rapidly changing, highly ambiguous environment.
