For our client, one of the leading life insurance companies and part of an international financial group headquartered in Europe, we are looking for a Chief Data Officer. This is a key position overseeing the data and artificial intelligence domain within the Polish organization (head office in Warsaw, a strong local technology team, and close collaboration with the group’s central functions).
Chief Data Officer
Warsaw, Poland (hybrid)
The main responsibility in this role will be to build and implement a cohesive data and AI strategy and translate it into tangible business outcomes—revenue growth, savings, and better decision-making across the entire organization.
Scope of Responsibilities
Build the company’s data strategy and approach to data monetization
Support the business in delivering data and AI–related initiatives by working with business units to identify, prioritize, and implement data/AI projects
Data governance
Oversee data technologies and platforms, including responsibility for the direction of data architecture development
Drive education and foster a data-driven culture across the organization
Candidate Expectations
- Experience in a role responsible for data / analytics / data & AI at the level of the entire organization or a large business unit
Experience in designing and implementing data strategies, running data monetization projects, and developing and leveraging data platforms (on-premise and/or cloud)
Experience leading transformational projects in the data domain
Proven leadership experience: managing managers and larger expert teams, ideally in environments undergoing change or reorganization
Ability to combine strategic thinking with an operational mindset—from defining the vision to execution and delivering measurable outcomes
Very good command of English (international environment, cooperation with the group headquarters, international projects)
