About the Role

The Board Member (with a path to Managing Director) will be responsible for the growth and scaling of a technology company operating in the IT and ERP sectors. The key objectives include commercializing the ERP system, integrating IT processes, and expanding the sales of IT services. The company is committed to delivering high-quality IT services both within the capital group and to commercial clients. This role combines business and technological expertise, with the ultimate goal of establishing the company as a market leader in its category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategic management of the IT company, driving sales growth for ERP systems and IT services, and ensuring their successful market implementation.
  • Transforming internal IT solutions into a fully developed, competitive ERP product.
  • Integrating IT operations by consolidating helpdesk, software, and hardware into a cohesive organizational structure.
  • Implementing cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives, optimizing IT infrastructure, cloud services, and ensuring system stability.
  • Building and developing the ERP sales team, creating a market expansion strategy, and acquiring new clients.
  • Overseeing budgeting and financial performance, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency (P&L management).
  • Collaborating with the capital group’s board to execute the group’s technology strategy and align IT operations within the organization.
  • Participating in M&A processes, identifying and assessing potential acquisition targets to accelerate growth and strengthen the company’s market position.

Candidate Profile 

  • Extensive experience in managing IT businesses or selling ERP solutions.
  • Proven track record in P&L management and developing B2B IT service sales strategies.
  • Strong market and technology knowledge, particularly in ERP and IT services, with expertise in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, and services.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation projects, process integration, and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive initiatives and work independently.
  • Experience in M&A processes is an advantage.
