We are currently looking for a Linux Team Manager for one of the leading service provider in Europe.

Linux Team Manager


Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • leading a team of talented IT experts
  • developing and implementing new initiatives relating server infrastructure technologies
  • managing Linux – based datacentre, both physical machines and virtualised servers
  • supervising SAN storage solutions maintenance
  • creating test and production environments for new software ventures
  • managing relations with external suppliers and service providers
  • supervising and increasing security level

What we expect:

  • at least 5 years of experience as a system administrator
  • experience in managerial position
  • very good knowledge of Unix/Linux – based servers
  • very good knowledge of network security aspects
  • overall knowledge of IT-infrastructure
  • good command of English
  • ability of learning and adapting to new tasks
  • creativity and engagement
  • pro-active attitude
